Anise Health is proud to announce that we are now in-network with Optum in California, furthering our mission to make culturally-responsive mental healthcare more accessible to Asian Americans. As part of UnitedHealthcare, Optum is a leader in delivering integrated health services with a focus on improving patient outcomes, supporting health equity, and expanding access to high-quality care. Our partnership reflects a shared commitment to meeting the needs of diverse communities with compassion, expertise, and cultural understanding.

Optum serves more than 100 million people nationwide, offering a broad range of health benefits and services. With decades of experience and a strong emphasis on innovation, Optum works to ensure that care is coordinated, personalized, and effective. This new relationship with Anise Health builds on Optum’s dedication to providing care that goes beyond traditional one-size-fits-all models; recognizing that cultural context plays a critical role in mental health outcomes.

Through this partnership, Optum members in California will have access to Anise Health’s holistic care model designed specifically for the Asian community.

Our approach integrates:

  • Culturally-adapted teletherapy and behavioral coaching from licensed providers trained in cultural sensitivity

  • Personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique background, lived experiences, and goals

  • A robust digital platform offering curated psychoeducational content, interactive workshops, group programs, and community support spaces

Whether addressing bicultural tension, family expectations, discrimination, intergenerational conflict, or everyday stress, our providers deliver evidence-based care that meets clients where they are, emotionally and culturally
