Our Community Guidelines

At Anise Health, we believe that everyone has a voice, but we ask you to respect the opinion and property of others and respect us by please not abusing our Site. Please be aware that you agree to comply with our Terms of Service and with these Community Guidelines below before using our Service or uploading any User Content. (Capitalized terms are defined in our Terms of Service).

Anise Health is all about participating, sharing and interacting in respectful and supportive ways. We want you to let others know what you need, what you experience and what you discover in your mental health process. Feedback is part of the experience, and when done with respect, can be a great way to foster community, share stories, and make your experience with Anise Health better.  

Harassment is unwanted conduct or conduct that affects an individual's dignity. Bullying is the process of intimidating or mistreating somebody weaker or in a more vulnerable situation. These may include any behavior which causes the recipient to feel threatened, intimidated, offended, humiliated, patronized, embarrassed or excluded and which creates an intimidating environment. Any person could be affected by unfair treatment, harassment, bullying or victimization and as an organization, we are committed to eliminating such behaviors.

Types of harassment and bullying:

Harassment

  • Assault, including threatened assault

  • Abusive, threatening or insulting words or behavior

  • Ostracizing or ignoring or not co-operating with an individual

  • Unwelcome comments regarding an individual’s religion, race, sexual orientation, disability, appearance or marital status

  • Making sexually suggestive remarks, gestures or unnecessary body contact

  • Displaying writing or pictures which are abusive on the grounds of race or sexually demeaning

  • Jokes of a sexual nature or insensitive  jokes related to race or disability

  • Intrusive questions or speculation about a person's private life

  • Use of racist, sexist or homophobic language or other inappropriate comments

  • Nicknames or teasing, abusive, threatening or insulting words or behavior

Bullying

  • Spreading malicious rumors/making malicious allegations

  • Unjustified criticism or repeatedly shouting at a colleague or criticizing a colleague in front of others

  • Withholding information with the intent of deliberately affecting another’s performance

  • Placing unreasonable demands on another’s performance

  • Isolation or non-cooperation and exclusion from social events

  • Imposing unfair sanctions

  • Humiliating someone in front of others

  • Belittling someone’s opinion

  • Non-legitimate, non-justifiable conducted criticism of someone’s behavior or performance

Report Objectionable Content. If you find Content that you think violates our Terms of Service or these Community Guidelines please report it by emailing legal@anisehealth.co. Our staff reviews User Content to determine whether it violates our Community Guidelines. If it does, we remove it in our sole discretion.  Accounts are penalized for Community Guideline violations and serious or repeated violations can lead to account termination. If your account is terminated, you will not be allowed to create a new account.
